Ernest Lee Evans, 77 of Tulsa, Oklahoma fell asleep in death April 23rd at 09:30 am. A Memorial Service will be held at Centennial Center, 1028 East 6th St, Tulsa, OK 74120. Ernie was born March 8th, 1945 in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended school there until his senior year when his family relocated to Tulsa. He graduated from Tulsa Central in 1963. Later he met Beverly Turner and they married June 13, 1964. He made his career in the transportation industry, working in sales for a number of large trucking companies. He was a member of the Transportation Club of Tulsa and enjoyed many of their activities. He played in their golf tournaments, attending their shrimp boils and meetings, serving on their board for a year. In 1985 he became one of Jehovah's Witnesses and served as a Ministerial Servant and later as an Elder for many years in a number of congregations in the greater Tulsa area. He supported and encouraged the seriously ill by his visits to the the hospital though the Hospital Liaison arrangement. He was preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Allene Evans, his brother Glen Dale Evans and Ernie's son Ernest Lee Evans Jr. His survivors include his widow, Beverly Evans, Tulsa, his sons widow, Sasha Evans, Glenpool, a daughter Pamela Taylor, Tulsa, a daughter and her husband, Chad and Michelle Brault, Tulsa, Grandchildren Jaden Evans, Tulsa, Brittany Alvarado and husband Michel Alvarado, Tulsa, Chloe and her husband Steven Olson, Tulsa, Marlee Brault, Tulsa. Megan Jones and her husband Daryl Jones and their children Jocelyn and Jensen Jones, Wagoner, Olivia Evans, Natalee Evans and Abigail Evans, Glenpool, many extended family members and innumerable friends, for all of whom he was very grateful.
