Mr. Floyd Ray White, 59 years old, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. White was born on September 21, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Floyd Everett and Lillie Pearl (Rednour) White. Floyd loved the outdoors. He chose any opportunity to participate in outdoor activities such as fishing and working on his lawn. He also loved sports and so the two pastimes often came together in time he spent with family. He spent two years as an assistant coach to Floyd Jrs T-ball team. Although he was injured in the late 80s he still tried to keep busy doing projects out of doors. He especially loved those activities that involved his grandchildren. He would do anything for them that he could. He was close to family and enjoyed the barbeques and get-togethers they would have. He enjoyed different types of music, ShaRhonda said you would never know what you would find Floyd listening to when you would walk into a room. His children laugh as they reminisce about their dad and his ways. They knew that although he would sometimes get grouchy, that he loved them and would do anything for them, it was at those times he would retreat to his solitude. Floyd never wanted to burden his family with his illness so he just continued to live and involve himself in their lives. He is now at rest. Floyd Ray White: father grandfather, uncle and friend was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
