Frances Ann Reed, 72, passed away May 17, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born September 6, 1945 in Houston, Texas to parents Boynton Dill and Anna Mae (Anderson) Reed. Fran grew up in Houston and became a cheerleader at Bellaire High School. Her career with Eastern Airlines spanned roughly 20 years. She loved it, all the fond memories, stories, and all the famous people she met. It all meant so much to her. She had many hobbies, including, in her youngers years riding dirt bikes, she had a passion for lighthouses and the ocean. She loved nice things, jewelry and collectibles. She loved playing backgammon and card games like spite and malice. She loved watching Formula 1, her favorite was the Ferrari team. She also loved watching football, the Houston Oilers was her team, Luv Ya Blue! But, she loved watching baseball the most, the Texas Rangers, Never Ever Quit! More than anything, she loved her two boys. She always went above and beyond ensuring their happiness. Her family meant the world to her. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Boynton Dill Reed, Jr. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Russell Cowan and wife Kristy Lynn; son Michael Reed Cowan and wife, Wendi Jean; grandsons, Aaron Russell Cowan and Ryan George Shadbolt; nieces, Brandi Dawn Reed and Lyndi Reed Augustine and husband J.J. and their children Reed and Lilly. A private family service will be held at a later date.
