Fred Edward Norton was born on October 8, 1971 in Ogden, Weber, Utah to Ronald LeRoy Norton and Diane (Adair) Norton. He passed from life on June 3, 2021.
He graduated from Clearfield High School in Clearfield, Utah in 1990. He joined the Air Force in 1990 and served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm until February 1994. He moved to Oklahoma in 1995.
He earned his MBA in Security and Risk Management from Bennington University in 2004 and his PhD in Religious Studies from Canterbury University in 2006.
His passion was assisting others. He worked as a police officer in several towns in Oklahoma and spent many years in security.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber Lea Norton, his parents, one grandfather, Edward Carroll Adair of Utah, one sister, Ronda Norton of Clearfield, Utah, one uncle, Ray Norton of Layton, UT, four aunts, Judith Opiken, Linda Cornish, Jana Beck and Linda Hancock, all of Utah and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Floyde Raymond Norton, both Grandmothers, Dorothy (Evans) Adair and Soveida (Miera) Gallegos, his brother of whom he idolized, DeWayne Russell Norton, Sister in law, Robin Laree (Knight) Norton, 2 nieces, Chelsea Norton and Beth Cherice MacCarthey and one aunt Virginia (Adair) Stone.
