IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gary Lee
Teague
January 3, 1943 – February 15, 2025
Gary Lee Teague, a hard-working husband, loving father, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born on January 3, 1943, in Denver, Colorado, Gary grew up as an Air Force kid, traveling the world and developing a deep appreciation for adventure, resilience, and family. His love for baseball was a constant throughout his youth. He later attended Texas Christian University, where he majored in business administration.
Gary and his wife, Dianne, were entrepreneurs, successfully running their own businesses before he transitioned into a career in construction management. His strong work ethic, leadership, and dedication to his craft left a lasting impact on those who worked alongside him.
For 52 wonderful years, Gary was the husband of Dianne (Turnipseed) Teague. Together, they built a life filled with love and unwavering support. He was a proud and caring father to his daughters, Shanan Lucas, Dani Felty (Chris Felty), Mackenzie Witte (Ray Witte), and Madison Teague. He was also a loving grandfather to Ella Felty, Teagan Witte, Wren Witte, and Isabella Redmond.
Gary will be remembered for his steadfast love for his family, his integrity, and the countless ways he enriched the lives of those around him. He could fix anything and was always the first to lend a helping hand, coming to the rescue of countless friends in precarious situations.
Gary gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ in the spring of 1972 and served his Savior for 53 years. For 17 of those years, he faithfully served as a Deacon at Grace Fellowship Church.
Ephesians 2:4-9 NASB
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is he gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
