GEOFFREY STEPHEN MORRIS, Age 70, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Geoffrey was born, March 3, 1945 in Kasas City, MO to parents George Henry and Lillian Elizabeth (Jones) Morris. He passed away Saturday, April, 25th, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Geoff was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Diana and brothers Greg and Brian. He is survived by; his sister, Diane Plante of Connecticut; brother Christopher Fitzmaurice and his wife Becky of Tulsa. Geoff was a Vietnam Era veteran of the Navy enlisting on Dec. 16, 1966 becoming a sonar technician on the USS Stribling. After completing schooling to become an electronics technician, Geoff "got paid to do what he loved" finishing his career with Genesis Technologies of Tulsa. Geoff was a member of the Mensa Organization and his hobbies were many and varied including flying an ultralight and a PPC and studying subjects as varied as, Spirituality to How to build a solar panel system. He could always be found tinkering and fixing things. He is described as a character by all who knew him and that would be a great compliment to him. Geoff spent the last 13 years of his life with his friend and sweetheart Elaine Clark of Mounds, Oklahoma. His wit will be missed greatly.
