Gerald Thomas Livengood, known to friends and family as Gerry, passed from this life on Friday December 16, 2016. He was born to Dale and Irene Livengood on March 24, 1962 in Alton, Illinois. Gerry graduated from Alton Senior High School in 1980. He relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 80's along with his two brothers Dale and John. Gerry initially helped build swimming pools in and around Tulsa. Later, Gerry did swimming pool maintenance. He was an avid amateur astronomer and scientist. Gerry was easy going, intelligent and had an affable personality. He enjoyed his nephews Joseph, Andrew, Luke and Nathan. Family and friends will miss him for his cheering and giving nature. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Irene Livengood of Alton, Illinois. He is survived by his brothers, Dale and John of Tulsa, Oklahoma and sisters, Mary Kessinger of Valparaiso, Indiana and Nancy Rowse of Pineville, Missouri. His ashes will be interred with those of his parents in Valparaiso, Indiana.
