Glenda Marie Postier-Barnes, 79, residing at Senior Suites, Broken Arrow, OK, passed away peacefully on Mon., May 19, 2014. Glenda was born at home on July 25, 1934, in Covington, OK to her parents, Glen Donald Postier and Velma Viona (Work) Postier. In Covington, a small, farming community, she grew up with many friends and extended family. She completed her formal education of first through twelfth grade there. She moved to CA in 1965 where she lived until 1992, at which time she returned to OK. Glenda was survived by her six children, James Romo-Barnes and wife Johnnie, Tulsa, OK; Sondra Romo-Barnes Garland, Riverside, CA; Joseph Romo-Barnes and wife Claudia, Riverside, CA; Billie Barnes-Loyd and husband Alyn, Huntington Beach, CA; Julie Barnes-Danyew and husband Greg, Oceanside, CA; and Janice Barnes, Riverside, CA; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and her sister in-law, Linda Postier, along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
