Glenn went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, April 4, 2013. He was born April 4, 1926 in Nekoma, KS to John and Minnie West. He is survived by: his wife, Alice and their five children, Thomas G. West and wife, Marcia, Julie E. Taylor and husband, John, Jonathan S. West and wife, Tammy, Peter W. West and wife, Linda, and Mary A. Lamoreaux and husband, Jeff; 13 grandchildren; and 8 greatgrandchildren. His eldest grandchild, Scott A. West preceded Glenn in death. Glenn graduated from LaCross, KS High School in 1944, joined the U.S. Navy, served in Guam till the end of WWII. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1950 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and worked his entire professional career in the oil and gas industry. He was a kind, gracious, loving father and Christian Brother. Glenn's faith and his family were most important to him, all else were temporal.
