Obituary

Harold Leonard "Hal" Musgrove, 80, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 28, 2015 at 4:40pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at St. Dunstans Episcopal Church, Tulsa, OK. Mr. Musgrove was born October 20, 1934 in Bradley, AR. He grew up in Atlanta, TX and was a graduate of Atlanta High School in 1953. After playing collegiate football at East Texas State University, Mr. Musgrove received a BBA from Texas AM University in 1959. He proudly served in the National Guard. A resident of Tulsa since 1969, Mr. Musgrove was the co-owner of BM Oil Company, Inc. He was long-time member of St. Dunstans Episcopal Church, where he served as Senior Warden and a member of the Churchs Vestry. He was survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Anna Lucille Sneed Musgrove, his two sons, Harold Leonard Musgrove, Jr., of Dallas, TX, and Richard Edward Musgrove, of Walnut Creek, CA, and his four dear grandchildren, Maile Lynn Musgrove, Madison Mae Musgrove, Koa Kyle Musgrove and Anna MLynn Musgrove. He was also survived by his sister Ann Musgrove Benson, and his nephews Charles Musgrove, James Musgrove, Michael Musgrove, Bruce Musgrove, David Benson, Brett Benson and Scott Benson and many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Edward Musgrove, his mother Lillie Bell Blalock Gentry, his stepfather Orval Gentry and his father Charles Musgrove. Mr. Musgrove was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was proud of the Tulsa-based company he built over nearly 40 years and its many loyal employees. He is remembered for his quick wit and big smile by friends and family. His was a life well-lived.
