Hazel "Lynn" Cleveland Lynn Cleveland died peacefully at her home in Fairland, OK on December 23, 2021. Lynn was born the youngest of five girls to M.D. and Ruth Johnson on October 17, 1939, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Her eldest sister, Moselle, and her son, John, preceded her in death. She is survived by her remaining sisters June, Omy, and Jackie. Lynn studied in Oklahoma and Missouri to become a registered nurse. She was initially employed by Hillcrest Hospital then completed 30 years at St. Francis Hospital, both in Tulsa. On December 11,1987, she married the love of her life, L. Dale Cleveland, and together they set out on a wonderful journey of travel and adventure. From 1999 to 2004, they traveled via motor home and ultimately visited all but five of the United States. In 2003 they purchased property in Fairland, OK, and moved there permanently in 2004. Lynn loved all of God's creatures be they big or small. She would spend hours filling hummingbird feeders and was delighted to see them visit. She was always putting out food for "the critters" or creating flower beds for the birds and butterflies. She was a kind, quiet and gentle soul to all who met her. Lynn is survived by her devoted husband, Dale, and her loving family. She also leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Lucy, her dog and Kitty, her cat. No services planned at this time.
