Henry Lee Camphor, born July 27, 1936 to the late David Patrick Camphor & Minnie Lee Brown Camphor (preceded him in death) his Grandfather, Joe Camphor & Lucy Guy Camphor 's Farm/Ranch In Port Gibson, Mississippi, Daisy Mae Camphor, Thelma Jean Camphor, Mary Camphor Ford, Janella Camphor James, Patrick Dean Camphor and David Charles Camphor. Henry gained his wings on May 15, 2019 (12:59 p.m.)at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK with some of his family. His early education was in Chicago and Carbondale, Illinois and continued in Masonry and construction at the Technical Trade School In Belleville, Illinois. He was married to the late Dorothy Tolliver Camphor that preceded him in death: and they have two children: Gwen Esther Camphor Gray Woodward and Henry Lee Camphor Jr. Marion Boykins was his close companion who also preceded him:Daughters.Patrenya Boykins, Owenia Boykins of Vallejo, California; Grandchildren:Raphael Gray, Tanesia Gray,Talon Camphor, Trenton Pennerman, Ivan Hudson and Raven Manigult .A great grandson Jamison Baran Also mourning are Sisters: Alberta Camphor Jones, Mini Camphor Cannon Jones, Jacqueline Lynette Camphor Abbott and a Brother James Odell Camphor, Clifford Camphor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins. Henry was a quiet spirited man but loved music and played his guitar and often sang his gospel favorites as well as his downhome blues; he loved to cook and feed anyone that was hungry, read his bible and always strived to help other's!
