Hershel L. Stanley Jeremiah 17:7 Hershel passed away on April 6, 2014, in the arms of his adored wife, Elizabeth, and surrounded by those who loved him. He was born March 22, 1932 in Hugoton, Kansas. As a young boy he moved to Center, Colorado, where he graduated from High School. In the mid 60s, Hershel came to Tulsa to attend Spartan School of Aeronautics. After graduating, he was employed both as a commercial and a corporate pilot for various companies. In 2012, he retired from America Airlines. Hershel leaves behind a large family and many friends. He was a unique and wonderful man, always putting his cherished family and others before himself. Thanks to those of you who were supportive of Hershel as he fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Hershels life.
