Howard Dwaine Morgan died peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 12, 2023 at the age of 66.

Dwaine is survived by his wife, Cindy Morgan of Broken Arrow, son and daughter in law, Shaun and Kari Morgan of Broken Arrow, and daughter and son in law Stephanie and Jeff McCurley of Broken Arrow. As well as his 3 grandchildren August McCurley, and Nolen and Paxton Morgan. He is preceded in death by his mother Yvonne Morgan (Ashby) and Father Howard Morgan.

Dwaine was born in Roseburg, Oregon on December 2, 1956. He was adopted by his parents Howard and Yvonne Morgan at birth and was raised by them in Springfield, Oregon where he graduated high school from Thurston High School in 1975. Dwaine met his wife Cindy on December 17th, 1976, and eventually married on June 17, 1978 in Oklahoma City, Ok. Dwaine and Cindy would give birth to their first child, Shaun Morgan on July 25, 1986 and their 2nd child, Stephanie Morgan (McCurley) on January 31, 1989. They began their family in Tulsa, Ok and eventually moved to raise their children in Broken Arrow, Ok where they reside today.

Dwaine was an insurance salesman for over two decades. He had the heart of a servant and contributed in many ways to his community through volunteerism and coaching youth sports with his kids. Dwaine was always looking for ways to have fun with his kids by taking them to local sporting events or concerts, and ensured he was at every ball game, recital, or assembly he could possibly make over the years. He loved his family and so many more as big as he could and would do anything in his power to help others. In more recent years, he loved spending time with his three grandchildren, August, Nolen, and Paxton and loved attending all of their various events. He lived a life of love, laughter, and giving and passed a legacy through his family to carry on for generations.

A funeral service for Dwaine is scheduled for 2:00p.m. On Friday, November 17, 2023. The service will be held at The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa, Ok. 10600 E 96th St S. Tulsa, Ok 74133. All are welcome to come and celebrate the life of Dwaine.
