Imogene Tillman was born on June 18, 1931 to Frona and Tolbert Tillman in Seminole, OK. She passed on July 22, 2018 at the age of 87. She spent her childhood years in LaMesa, NM but spent the majority of her years in Arizona where she raised her two daughters. She was, for a short time, a computer programmer at Southern Arizona Bank and later ran her own janitorial service. She enjoyed going to dances and was an accomplished seamstress, sewing many beautiful clothes for herself and her daughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers Jack and Nolan Tillman, two sisters Patty Worley, Betty June Burke and her very special and loving companion Ray Fletcher. She is survived by her daughters Evetta Jones and her husband Edward of Sierra Vista, AZ, Velda Newberry and her husband Randall of Bixby, OK, granddaughter McKenzy Jones, grandson Garrett Jones, sisters Eula Mae Alkire and Hope Cook both of Las Cruces, NM and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was beloved and will be deeply missed, but her earthly family knows she rests in the loving arms of the Lord rejoicing there with her Heavenly family.
