Obituary

WE are here in remembrance of Jack Ray Davidson also known as daddy and grandpa. He was born in Stonewall, Oklahoma on June 4, 1927 to Paris and Gladys Davidson. He passed away on June 16, 2018 at the age of 91. Jack graduated from Tupelo Oklahoma in 1945. Soon after Jack met Anita Sue and were married April 3, 1946. They had 6 children, Richard, Gloria, Dennis, Christie, Jerry and Forrest. Jack traveled from Oklahoma to the west coast picking fruit and cotton. They eventually made their way to Oregon. They made Oregon their home until 1962. While they were in Oregon, Jack was a logger. In 1962 the family moved back to Oklahoma where he worked concrete. He also worked for Owasso Schools. Jack Enjoyed fishing, gardening, teaching boys how to play baseball and of course his passion was poker with his buddies. He was still playing poker until the last three days of his life. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family which include his son Richard Davidson and his wife Marie of Louisiana, Gloria Clyman of Tulsa OK, Christie Githens of Vinita, OK, 10 grandkids: Carol Glisson Iverson, Tony McCullough, Deana Glisson Cooper, Michael McCullough, Rick Davidson, Dawn Davidson, Ameila Githens, Amanda Githens, Rachel Davidson, Crystal Davidson Harrell; 12 great grandchildren: Krystie Phelps, Logan Jones, Leah Jones, Collin McCullough, Evan McCullough, 3 great-great grandchildren: Jaidyn Phelps, Jaxon Phelps and Mya Jones; he was preceded in death by his mother and father, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 3 children. He was dearly loved.
