Barrett, James Edward, 61, passed away January 7, 2021. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 7, 1959. He was an elder member of the Arikara Tribe located in New Town, ND. James loved his photography. He was very talented and enjoyed his photo shoots. His favorite pastime was music, listening and making playlists for our road trips. He loved our schnauzer, Razor, very much and what we called "our little family". James was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Euna Barrett and son, Cory Barrett. He was survived by his wife, Toi, son, Tyler Barrett of Ada, OK; son, Nathan Taff and his wife Jennifer of Muldrow, OK; brother in law, Russell Libby of Alto, TX; seven grandchildren, Essence Barrett of Ada, OK, Brandon Hayes of Amarillo, TX, Winter, Duane and "little" Nate Taff of Muldrow, OK, Zachary and Issac Taff of Tulsa, OK.
