Obituary

James William Beall passed from this life June 21, 2024 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by love. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lee Marvin Beall and Inez Robinson Beall on July 9, 1923.

He was a few weeks away from being 101 years old.

James was of the Methodist faith. He was an educator, who retired as a principal from the Broken Arrow School system. His degrees were from Northeastern State University. He was in the first graduating class of 1942 at Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated by proxy due to the day after Pearl Harbor, he joined the U. S. Navy and immediately began his service and continued until October 1947. His WW II service included the Pacific Theater in the Battle of Midway and Aleutian and Solomon Island Campaigns.

He was a great patriot and flew the American flag every day. His military service was honored by serving as the grand marshal of the Tulsa and Tahlequah Veterans Day Parades. He was also the Grand Marshall for the Hulbert Christmas Parade. He was commemorated in the Naval Museum in Fredericksburg, Texas.

He was a world traveler, gardener, hunter, and genealogist. He built his house, and it was one of a kind. Not many people have a round house with a tower in the middle. All his Kids, grandkids, and their friends loved to go to Dan Dans house. You could feel such a sense of peace and comfort being in the valley with him. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and had good health and lived by himself. Often driving his Tesla wherever he needed to go. Which is such a blessing, especially being 100. He even got to take quick trip to Texas a week before he went home. When he was ninety years old, he skydived in Australia and at ninety-five he para-sailed over South Africa.
