James Earl Bennett was born April 29, 1938 in Hominy, Oklahoma and passed away in his home May 27, 2016. James Bennett was a carpenter by trade all while raising 12 children. He enjoyed telling his incredible life stories, and he never met a stranger. He was always lovingly referred to as 'colorful' and 'old man river'. James spent his past time shooting pool and watching baseball. James was preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Bennett, and sons: James Earl Bennett Jr. and Gerald Dean Bennett. He is survived by his children: Lisa McCormick, Kimberly Kasparek and her husband Kirby, Cecelia Bennett, Tina Bennett, Patricia Williams and her husband Starvel, Shielah Bennett, Brandy Pryor and her husband Josh, Jackie Allen and her husband Chris, Jamie Bennett, and Michael Bennett as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed. There are no services planned
