James Leroy Parker was born in Pahuska Oklahoma on July 3, 1950. The second (and middle) child of William (Bill) and Florene (Landis) Parker. He grew up in Barnsdall Oklahoma and graduated from Barnsdall High School. He had two sisters-Gloria and Freda. Bill and Florene's children grew up going to church, and James loved the Lord Jesus and His church.

He had two daughters-Leeann and Brandy. He served in the Air Force and loved his country.

He had many vocations during his life. He managed a resturant for many years and later supervised new home construction.

James was funny and caring. He loved to make people laugh. He had a servants heart. He served lunches at the Senior Center in Broken Arrow Oklahoma in his later years and was known and loved by many people there. He was generous and quick to offer help to meet any need.

James was gathered to his people on June 30, 2024. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness and humor will be remembered by many.
