Obituary

Jan Elizabeth Clark left this earth on the 29th day of September at just 66 years young to rejoin with her parents in Heaven. She was born on December 21st, 1951 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Glenda and Bill Adkisson. She was raised in Tulsa where she graduated with the class of 1970 from Memorial High School. She then went on to obtain a Bachelors Degree at Oklahoma State University and later in life achieved her Masters Degree. Jan loved her career as a teacher and school counselor, where she molded young minds and made a positive impact on everyone she met. To many of those who knew her as Ms.Clark, she left a lasting impression, still affecting their lives today. Her first love in life was dancing and being a part of the Tulsa Swing Club for many years, but her most favorite pastime clear up to the day she passed was spending quality time and laughing with her grandchildren. Jan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Wes Rogers, her grandchildren, Ryan, Braden, and Presley Rogers, her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and John Kuhn, her nephew, Jeff Kuhn and her love and best friend of 54 years, Steve Lassiter and family. She is preceded by her mother and father, Glenda Justine and William Roy Adkisson.
