Jane M. Beck, 84, of Tulsa, OK died on September 10, 2014. She was born in Port Chester, N. Y. on June 7, 1930 to Norman E. and Mae L. Monroe. She was a graduate of Harrison High School, N. Y. and Berkeley College. Jane married Robert Beck of Harrison in October 1953. She worked briefly for General Motors. They moved frequently because of her husbands employment with an oil company. After retirement they traveled and spent a great deal of time at South Padre, TX. Although Jane was a Den Mother, Girl Scout leader and church volunteer, she especially cherished the many years she volunteered at the Tulsa Recreation Center for the Physically Limited as the gift shop manager, ceramics class teacher and Board member. She enjoyed life and was loved by all as a wife, mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and volunteer. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Deborah, and brother Norman. She is survived by her loving husband, son Robert, Jr. and his wife Lisa, granddaughters Shannon, Erin, Jessica, Amanda, and great grandson Cooper and several nieces and nephews. Service will be held at 4 P. M. , Saturday, September 27 at St. Dunstans Episcopal Church, Tulsa with interment in the church Memorial Gardens.
