Jane Adams Brookey died Saturday January 25, 2014 in Jenks, Oklahoma after a long illness. Jane was born on October 8, 1926 in Chariton, IA to Robert Wolstenholme Adams of Omaha, NE and Izah May Collins of Knoxville, IA. She graduated from Pomona College with a BA in English. She was the Pershing County High School librarian in Lovelock, NV for more than 25 years. Her greatest gift to her family was her love of reading. Her sister Carolyn Hays Bail of Los Angeles, CA and her ex-husband Edward L. Brookey of Henryetta, OK preceded her in death. Two sons survive her: Robert L. Brookey of Tulsa, OK and John Collins Brookey of Plano, TX. She had two grandsons: E. Allen Brookey and Brian Robert Brookey and one great grand daughter Teresa P. Brookey. No Services Planned
