JEAN FELT HOLLIMAN passed away on November 9, 2014. She was born on March 3, 1923 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Howard and Mabel Felt. She married Joe M. Holliman in 1944. She was graduate of Holland Hall and attended Pine Manor College and was a graduate of Oklahoma University. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi. Jean was an active member of the JUNIOR LEAGUE OF TULSA where she held several chairmanships and was also a member of the Executive Board for many years. She was also active in many other charitable organizations. Jean, along with her husband Joe, donated generously to the community funding the THE HOLLIMAN BUILDING at St. Johns Hospital, THE STROKE CENTER at St. Johns Hospital, the HOLLIMAN FAMILY CENTER at Oklahoma Methodist Manor, THE FELT HOUSE at Oklahoma Methodist Manor and the HOLLIMAN LODGE at Camp Egan. As many of you have enjoyed while driving around Tulsa, Jean and Joe have donated many of the trees in connection with the UP WITH TREES campaign. Jean is pre-deceased by her husband, JOE M. HOLLIMAN and leaves behind two daughters, JANICE H. STANFIELD of Marietta, Georgia, JOANNA H. POTTS of Tulsa, and one son, DR. JOHN HOWARD HOLLIMAN OF Oklahoma City, two grandchildren, LESLEY S. BECKER and JOSEPH B. POTTS, three great-grandchildren, MADISON M. POTTS, BROOKE H. BECKER and TYLER H. POTTS. Memorial services are November 18 th at 2:00 p.m. at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa.
