Jerry Leon Lomax Sr., 73, of Tulsa, OK passed away on Saturday, September 2nd 2017, at home. Jerry was born on July 17, 1944 to Marvin Sr. and Lela (Taylor) Lomax. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a diesel mechanic and rifle marksman. He was known for his ornery sense of humor and being one of the best drivers around. Jerry is survived by his wife, Blenda Lomax; 3 sons: Steve Lomax and his wife Tami, Daniel and his wife Stephanie, Karl and his wife Whitney; 1 daughter Shannon (Lomax) Swayze and her husband Jessie; 3 granddaughters: Sydney Lomax, Lacey Lomax and Jennifer Lomax; 2 Grandsons: Konner Lomax and Dylan Lomax; 2 sisters: Billie Lomax and Doris Lomax; 3 nieces: Susan Dunn, Stephanie Cleaver and Jessica Bond; 1 nephew: Timothy Egan, as well as many grand-dogs and grand-cats, great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Jerry Leon Lomax Jr., 2 brothers Lloyd Lomax and Marvin Lomax Jr., and 2 sisters Wanda Lomax and Betty Lomax. There are no services planned at this time.
