Jim Sorrels was born on August 14, 1964 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Joe Lester Sorrels and Lillian Inez Brashier. He passed away on July 12, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He will be loved and missed by all. Jim worked as a security officer for more than thirteen years with the last twelve being at Checotah Creek Nation Casino. He was loved by many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father Joe Lester Sorrels; His mother Lillian Brashier; and many friends and family. He is survived by his sisters: Shirley Branch of Eufaula, Oklahoma; Sharon Lampkin of Collinsville, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his brother Mitchell Hilderbrand of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma along with numerous nieces and nephews.
