Jimmy Ala Patterson passed away May 15, 2016 in Vanita, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. He was born May 1, 1950 to Alvin Lee and Pauline Joyce Patterson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jim retired from Verizon as a central office tech after 26 years. He was a family man, loving, caring, and proud. Jim is a National Guard Veteran after 6 years of service. He enjoyed staying home and spending time with his wife, Vickie. He was a great builder and perfectionist. Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vivkie Ellen (Pate) Patterson; children: Lisa L. West, Jennifer A. Patterson Wegoner, Jessica Dunckel; 5 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; mother: Pauline Joyce Patterson; siblings: Gary L. Patterson, Paula Steward, Cindy Rameriz as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
