Jo Ann Stone, 72, of Claremore Oklahoma passed away on April 25, 2017. Ms. Stone was born on March 20, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jo retired from the job she loved working at the tollbooth for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. She loved working with people and went out of her way to give people directions, help and give those she knew a big hug, even if it meant holding up traffic! She loved purple, horses, butterflies, and everything Norman Rockwell. Jo also loved dancing and attending concerts. Two of her favorite quotes were, 'Love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow' and 'Love you to the moon and back'. Jo was also known to carry around a fishing pole in her car, just in case Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Clara Arterburn and her brother, Jon Arterburn. Survivors include her daughters, Shari Stone-Fredericks and Staci Beuk, and her son, Sam Stone. Jo's six grandchildren: Blake Walinder, Paige Fredericks, Madison Fredericks, Wyatt Fredericks, Sammy Stone, and Dylan Stone.
