Joan Johnson, 87, of Claremore, OK, passed away January 9, 2017. She was born in Anderson, MO on January 4, 1930 to Rosa Belle Lamphear and Walter Otto Tennison. Joan was raised in Pineville, MO until she married and eventually settled in Claremore, OK. Joan attended St. John Nurses Training in Joplin, MO. She enjoyed watching basketball, fishing, dancing, traveling and attending her family's sporting events. She is loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, son in-law, grandson, granddaughter in-law, and 4 great grand-children. Joan was proceeded in death by her husband, son, sisters, brother, parents and grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Claremore, OK.
