JoAnn was born in Tulsa, January 31, 1930 to Jo?seph and Marjorie Wiedenmann and lived here all of her life. After retiring from teaching elementary school, she traveled the world having many adventures. She loved animals and birds, did arts crafts projects, grew plants, and collected Native American art and jewelry. In retirement, she volunteered many hours at Gilcrease Museum. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty Plummer (New Mexico). She has 3 daughters, Ruth Anderson (Tulsa), Betty Pierce (Colorado), Patty Boyer (Florida). She has 2 grandchildren, Oriana and Pierce Anderson. JoAnn graduated from Tulsa University in 1952 and her grandchildren attend there. JoAnn spent the last 10+ years living at Oklahoma Methodist Manor where she received excellent care, and made many friends. Her family will be spreading her ashes in the spring.
