John Franklin Bowers "John", passed away March 1, 2014 in Owasso, Oklahoma at age 56. John was born March 10, 1957 to Donald Ray and Pearly Mae (Blue) Bowers. John was a new lover of golf. When the weather permitted it you would find him on the course. When John was younger he loved to fish and hunt. John loved to go to the rodeo, and was a jockey in horse racing for a while. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good cocktail, especially while watching his Sooners play football. John is survived by his loving sister Donna, nephews J. R. Blose, Patrick Blose and Niece Ashley Bowers. A slew of aunts and uncles as well as cousins and other loving family. A Celebration of Life for John is set for Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Cremation Society of Oklahoma Chapel.
