John Wesley Brown went to be with His Lord on Feburary 20, 2018. John is survived by his sister Lynette O'Neal, husband Randy of Garland, Texas, sister LaJoy Ratliff, husband Dan of Lawton, Oklahoma, nephews Brandon Holloway, wife Tonya of Tipton, Oklahoma, Tyler O'Neal, wife Jenny of Richardson, Texas, Todd O'Neal , wife Becky of The Colony, Texas, Trey O'Neal, wife Shera of McKinney, Texas, Travis O'Neal, wife Jenni of Hobe Sound, Florida, niece Kala Ratliff of Lawton, Oklahoma, great niece Tiffany Erickson, husband Ace of Tipton, Oklahoma, great nieces Maggie, Saylor, Avery, Tate, Malia, Addison, Madeline, Maeley O'Neal, great nephews Colby, Troop, Tag, Micah, and Malachi O'Neal great-great nephews Case and Hesston Erickson of Tipton, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by nephew Austin Ratliff. He is survived by two loving friends with whom he made his home Carole Brown and Deb Gorrell of Tulsa, Oklahoma. John was born October 27, 1957 in Altus, Oklahoma to the late Harry Burl and Cleo Brown. John graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 1975 from Navajo High School. He went on to Southwestern State University in 1979 with a double major in college math and computer science. He worked at Hertz in Oklahoma City as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, Schlegel International in Frederick, Oklahoma, Xerox-Advanced Technical Support, Lowes Home Improvement and lastly CLD Connections. John will be remembered as a very loving, caring and generous individual who loved his family and friends. Memorial Service held at Centennial Chapel on the grounds of The Altus City Cemetery at 2pm, Saturday, March 10, 2018. Officiant is Tyler O'Neal, nephew of John Brown.
