John Stirling 'Jack' Santee, 58, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Jack was born in Tulsa on December 14, 1956, to Robert 'Bob' and Betty (Potter) Santee. He graduated from Edison High School and attended the University of Oklahoma and Tulsa University. Jack lived in Chicago after college and played in several bands, and later moved to Dallas, working as a painter and musician. After returning to Tulsa, Jack continued music, art, and writing, working for various local publications. Jack also worked as a stone mason, house painter, and remodeler for years. Jack is remembered for his witty, irreverent sense of humor and fun-loving nature. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Betty Santee; his brother, Bill Santee, wife, Lindsey and sons Robbie, Tanner, and Wade; his brother Jeff Santee, wife Tanya, and children Jake and Suri; and his sister Sarah Darby, husband Ryan, and children Cullin and Lucile. The family celebrated his memory at a private ceremony on Saturday, August 22, 2015.
