John Anthony Karr, 72, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, April 25. Mr. Karr was born September 03, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from McLain High School in 1964. Soon after graduation, John was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He worked in assorted sales jobs, from beer sales to car sales. He enjoyed spending time at the lake and was an avid sports fanatic. Mr. Karr is preceded in death by his father: M.D. (Buster) Karr; mother: Betty Karr; sister: Claudia Karr Dugan; and son: Kevin Ray Karr. John Karr leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Carolyn Karr; son: Brian Karr; daughter in law: Dalee Cronebach Karr; daughter: Tiffany Lahocki; son in law: Paul Lahocki; daughter: Krista Chapman; son in law: Mark Chapman; daughter: Trixie Wishon; sister: Jan Dressler; grandchildren: Trevor Karr, Devon Karr, Cameron Karr, Austin Dennis, Alex Dennis, Aiden Dennis, Marcus Lee, Lane Chapman, Kyle Chapman, Jessica Eslick, and Kayzanna Wishon; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 3, 2019, 12:00 pm, at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home Chapel, 2103 East 3rd Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104.
