John Nelson Pierce went to his final resting place on January 5, 2015. John was born on August 29, 1968 to Charles and Dorothy Pierce in Norfolk, Virginia. John attended school in Va. Beach, VA and excelled as an athlete playing little league baseball. Like all the men in his family, John was very talented with his hands and able to build or repair nearly anything he set his mind to. John moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the late 1980s and worked as a service technician, programming and repairing cash registers for Cash Management Systems. During his late teens he worked residential construction jobs that enabled him to frame and help build a wonderful cabin in the north Georgia mountains with his brother Danny. In 2003 John moved to Cookson, Oklahoma and worked for Dell Computers as a Client Technical Senior Support Associate. He loved and was married to Judy Comtois for eleven years. John will be remembered for his wry sense of humor, quiet, gentle ways and deeply missed by all who knew him. John was preceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Pierce. Survivors include brother David Pierce and Susan Walters (Seattle, WA), sister Carolyn and Gary Richard (Virginia Beach, VA) and brother Daniel and Debra Pierce (Alpharetta, GA), along with many nieces and nephews. The body will be cremated and his final wish of returning home to Virginia Beach will be fulfilled.
