Johnny Wayne Newell (79) passed peacefully into his Loving Savior's arms on December 19, 2024. Johnny (John) was born in Boynton, OK to Charles L. Newell and M. Marie (Arbogast) Newell on August 23,1945.

John walked many different paths throughout his life from the army to his real career love of race horse training and breeding. However, the walk he would agree was the most life-changing and important was his walk with God. He loved God with all his heart so death held no fear for him.

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lavon, father and mother, brothers, Mark and Terry Newell and sister, Judi Newell Raley. He is survived by sister Denise Church and husband Dennis as well as bonus children, Natalie Ferrer and husband Hector and Robert Newell and many nieces and nephews.

Johnny will be missed by all who knew him but he is home where he longed to be.
