Obituary

Johnny Ray "Buddy" Price was born Sunday, November 25, 1956 in Scotia, CA to Raymond and Sue Price. He passed away at his home in Vian, OK surrounded by family on Friday, August 18, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

He moved from CA to OK in 1973, after graduating in 1974 he embarked on a journey with the U.S. Navy as a radio operator, after the Navy he worked on the central maintenance crew at PSO, and a line operator at Kimberly Clark. His most important job was being a son, brother, dad, uncle, grandpa, and friend.

He called Vian home for the last 25 years. He enjoyed the "country life" like fishing, hunting, boating on Lake Tenkiller, raising cattle, but most importantly being surrounded by family and friends. He is missed and loved by so many.

He is survived by his daughters Jennifer Flower (Blake) of Mont Belvieu, Tx, Melissa Rawhouser (Tony) of Broken Arrow, OK,; son Ace Price-Labrador Retriever of Vian, OK.; Grand-Children Beckett (10), Dawson (6), Carson (6), McKinley (2), and Makayla (22 months),; Mother Sue Price of Vian, OK.; Siblings Sheryl Price of Tulsa, OK, Robert Price (Carol) of Tulsa, OK; Nieces and Nephews Mark Binney (Erin and son Collin), Emily Roberts (Danny and children Harlee, Bentlee and Crosslee), Rachel Mader (daughter Reagan "Doodlebug" Summerlin), Renee Price (daughter Paisley), Shawna Hillis (Matt and children Kellen and Kenna), Alyssa Lynch (Marshall and children Stormi and Ella).

He was preceded in death by his dad Raymond F. Price.
