Judith (Judie) Kathleen Bryant Suess, age 92, died August 3, 2024 in Tulsa, OK. Born to Dr. James and Edith Bryant on August 27, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN, She attended West High School, Smith College and University of Minnesota before receiving her teaching certification in 1960.
She soon met T. John and they married in 1961. In 1967, they moved to Kansas City, then Wichita and finally Tulsa when she and T. John acquired the Typewriter Service Company in 1974. Judie led the back office of TSCI and managed accounting and billing.
Judie was an activist who worked tirelessly to educate and advocate for religious freedom, the environment, population growth, public education and women's rights. The Tulsa World over the last 50 years has published dozens of her letters to the editor sharing her vision. She believed that those with means had a duty to help make the world a better place for all.
Judie is predeceased by her parents and husband T. John, brother Jack Bryant, and sister Diane Dresser. She is survived by sister Sue Bachman and brother Dan Bryant, her sons, John of Tulsa, Jim and wife Debbie of Tyrone, GA, Jeff and wife Jayne of Okarche, OK, Josh and wife DeAnn of Sandy Springs, GA, a niece Deborah, grandchildren Emma, Jack, John, Sarah, Matthew, Jason, Justin, and Jonathan and great grandchild James.
