Obituary

Karen Deanne Williams Karen Deanne Williams, age 48, passed away on Saturday, April 18 th, 2015 in Tulsa, OK after a 2 year battle with adenocarcinoma cancer. She was a fighter, and ever hopeful to the end that she could overcome this disease. Karen will be fondly remembered as a deeply compassionate and loving family member and friend. She was always willing to help out those in need and was a source of hope and inspiration. She was a devoted mother to Elliot, who was the one constant love in her life. And she loved to spoil her dogs. Born April 4 th, 1967 in Calgary,Canada, Karen graduated from Owasso High School and Oklahoma State University. Karen was an O.S.U. Master Gardener. In addition to working in her garden, Karen loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, snow skiing, and kayaking. Over the years, Karen worked for various companies, including Axio, Rogers Litho, Manpower Recruiting, and Binding Stevens Garden Center. Karen is survived by her husband, Scott Williams, her son, Elliot LeMieux, her parents, Donald and Mickey Eck, her sister, Carmen Marsh, along with her husband, Charles Marsh and their daughter, Mabry Webb, Scott's daughter, Chelsea, her brother-in-law Mark Williams and his wife, Helen, her brother-in-law Bruce Williams, his wife Tracy, their son Grant, and their daughter Laura, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home (2103 E 3rd St., Tulsa OK 74104) on Friday, April 24 th at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at Fleming's Steak House (1976 Utica Square, Tulsa) between noon and 2:00 pm.
