Kathy Kelly Thompson was born on May 9th, 1963, in Muskogee, OK and lived in Tulsa most of her life. And she lived a good life. She was given a death sentence 30 years ago but that was only the beginning!

She saw her daughters and granddaughters grow up and graduate, her grandson thrive in high school and her youngest granddaughter grow to almost 3 years old!

Kathy lived with her mother and helped take care of our grandmother in the home.

Kathy passed from this life surrounded by all her loved ones in the early morning hours of June 11th, 2023, she had just turned 60 years old. She loved fiercely and is now flying with the eagles that she so dearly loved!

Kathy left behind 2 daughters, Kelly Jo (Taylor) and Kristen and a step-son, Waylon; 2 granddaughters, Meagan and Tommy Jo and a grandson James Leon; 1 sister Barbara (Jim) and 1 brother Michael (Pam); 1 niece Amanda; cousins (baby) Dana, Steven and Charlotte, and Joy Eaton, and Cindy And Andy (Shelly.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, Donnie Ray, her parents Leon and Dana Emerson, nephew Aaron, granddaughter, Samantha, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
