Kelly Ray Prather, 62, of Oilton, died Sunday. Kelly was born to Floyd and Nellie Prather in Ft. Morgan, CO on February 16 th, 1952. He graduated valedictorian from Oilton High School in 1970. Music was one of Kellys greatest passions; you rarely found him without a guitar in hand or nearby. He is remembered as a proud and loving father who would never hesitate to help a friend in need. Kelly is preceded in death by his beloved father, Floyd Prather, Sr., and his wife, Marcy Taulbee-Prather. He is survived by his mother, Nellie Prather; his siblings, Sandra Prather-Thompson and Floyd "Corky" Prather, and wife, Sheran; his daughters, Lisa, Kelsie, and Kassie Prather; his son and daughter-in-law, Kody and Megan Prather; and his grandchildren Daylen, Kennedy and Lucas Prather. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made out to: A Helping Hand, 767 Lane Allen Rd., Lexington, KY 40504.
