Kenneth A. Groth (1926 - 2018) Kenneth, aged 91, originally from New York, passed away peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 21, 2018. Kenneth was born in Red Hook, New York on April 20, 1926, was the youngest of six children born to Edward Mary Groth. Kenneth lived a very full life having entered the Navy at age 17, in 1944. His active service rank at discharge in 1946 was Signalman 2nd Class. He received medals for his participation in the European theatre, Asia Pacific, and the American theatre during WWII. After the war, he joined the United States Naval Reserve and retired in April 1966 at a rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. He graduated St John's University with a bachelors degree and went on to become the consummate professional having dedicated upwards of 60 years to his career in Corporate Accounting. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Josephine, of 67 years and his four children, Kenneth, Ann Marie, Joseph Mary. Kenneth and Josephine considered their children and now their extended family of loving spouses, grand children and great grand children to be their proudest and most fulfilling accomplishment in life. Kenneth was a loving father, a dedicated husband and perhaps most importantly a generous man who always tried to provide love and support to whomever needed it. He will be missed by his family and all the lives he touched throughout his long life. Kenneth, will be cremated with a final ceremony on April 6th, 2018 at St Clement of Rome Catholic Church at 10:30 AM, 15501 S Memorial Dr, Bixby, OK. After which, he will be interned at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK.
