Kevin Kemp was born in Okemah, Oklahoma to Delbert Kemp and Francis Mae (Wood) Kemp on January 1, 1951. He died October 25, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kevin graduated from Brazosport high school in 1969. He then began a career that spanned almost 40 years as a senior piping, vessel and welding inspector. Most of his working career was spent at what is now known as the Ineos size on Chocolate Bayou. He loved his extended family and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Francis Mae (Wood) Kemp and sister Karen Kay (Kemp) Schanley. He is survived by his father: Delbert L. Kemp of Brazoria, Texas, wife: Cynthia Leslie Kemp of Lake Jackson, Texas, Son: Daniel Eugene Kemp of San Antonio, Texas, daughters: Amanda Lopez (Oscar) of Highlands, Texas, Courtney Hapner (Ryan) of Little Rock, Arkansas, brother: William Kemp (Denise), nieces: Catherine and Laura.
