Kimberly Suzanne Kimery (Kirkbride), 40, of McAlester Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on the 24th of August, 2017 while surrounded by her family and friends. Her strength and love for others throughout her life was also present during her passing. For she was kept on life support until the 26th of August, 2017 when her wishes to donate her organs came true. Through this process she not only saved more than five lives around the United States, but she provided time for her family traveling from out of state to be with her and celebrate her 40th birthday together. Kimm was born on the 25th of August, 1977 in the city of Douglas, WY to her mother Debra Wray (Raley) and father Kenneth Kirkbride. Even though her biological father passed away during her infancy she had a very big heart to share. After the death of Kenneth, Kimm opened her heart and was adopted by Dan (Danice) Chaffin in her early childhood. After the passing of another father, Dan, she taught us all how to be resilient in the face of all odds, by opened her heart again to the love of James Wray as her father in 1990. Kimm was the fifth oldest of eleven and the most outgoing and honest daughter, sister, mother, wife, granddaughter and grandmother. Her siblings include Willie, Frankie, Dan, Chris, Heather, Melissa, Jon, Stefanie, Robyn, and Liz. Growing up in such a large family and being a constant motivator for them all, she decided to take after her parents and have a large family of her own. Kimm is survived by her loving daughters: Tifanie, Breanna, Kimber, Mika, Harley, Paeten and her step children Kayle, Mikey, and Angel in addition to the newest member, her granddaughter Emma. Her children describe her as being a loving, entertaining, free spirited person and say that her life over the last few months can be described by the lyrics of Sissys Song by Alan Jackson. Kimm is also survived by her loving husband Mike Kimery, whom she met over 5 years ago and married on 27th May 2012. Big Mike has since become a loving and supportive father to her daughters. Big Mike and Kimm could often be seen riding around McAlester on their motorcycle along with their fellow motorcycle brothers and sisters. They were both so blessed to have such a loving group of family and friends who became family. Those around her told of how she renewed her faith in the power of Christ and gave her life to Jesus through baptism in her final days. Funeral arrangements were held on Monday, the 28th of August, at 4:30pm at the Faith Fellowship Church located at 803 East Electric Ave. McAlester, OK 74501. Kimm will be memorialized by the family planting a Weeping Willow at her home, details will be provided at a later date. Special Thanks to the staff at Saint Francis Hospital and LifeShare for hosting a flag ceremony in Kimms honor. The Flag flew for 24 hours in her honor and has been provided to the family for keepsake. Additional, thanks to the Faith Fellowship Church and her motorcycle brothers and sisters for the support to her family. You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray, youll never know dear how much I love you Please dont take my sunshine away.
