Kindel Lyn Chevrestt was born on November 23, 1967, and was the youngest of three daughters. She had an independent spirit from the very beginning… as a toddler, Grandma McHenry nicknamed her "Baby No Ears" after she kept digging in a potted plant and eating the dirt. Although she was told numerous times to stop, she was determined and continued on in her quest to do things her own way. That independent spirit continued throughout her lifetime.

Kindel attended Wright Christian Academy where she played sports and began to grow in her faith. Her connection with the Church of Christ upbringing and attending youth church camps were evident in how much she loved and trusted God throughout her life.

After graduation, Kindel attended cosmetology school becoming a hairdresser and a massage therapist. In 1998, Kindel married Ed Chevrestt where they lived in Owasso, OK. His career path relocated them to Kansas City, MO and then to Moline, IL where they've spent the last few years with her beloved pet, Maili.

Kindel is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ed Chevrestt and stepdaughter, Tara; Parents, Louis and Kay Hanna; Sisters, Terri (Tony) Reans, Leslie (Frank) Fermo; Along with countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

After a valiant fight against multiple myeloma, Kindel unexpectedly left this world on Saturday March 23, 2024, surrounded by her family. Her bright spirit lives on in the hearts of all those who love her so dearly.
