Kristine Jean Farnsworth McManus, 88 passed away on her birthday, Saturday, March 7 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Ada, OK, March 7, 1927 to Roby T. and Christine O. Ingram Farnsworth. She was predeceased by her sister Nora Nell Farnsworth Cope. She attended the University of Tulsa and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Kristine was a lover of art and an accomplished artist herself, a member of the Choctaw Nation and great, great granddaughter of the noted Rev. Israel Folsom. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, James M. McManus; their four children Cary S. McManus, Laury S. Circle, Shawn M. Guy and David F. McManus and seven grandchildren, Ryan and Jake Circle, Madison and Riley Guy, Katie and Olivia McManus and Emerson McManus. The family would like to thank Rivercross Hospice and Aberdeen Heights for the care that she received. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimers Foundation of America.
