Laurence M. Wilson, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away in Vinita, Oklahoma on December 10, 2016. He was born in Port Huron, Michigan November 23, 1928 to Francis and Alice Wilson. He attended Michigan State University, receiving his Masters Degree in Geology after servig in the United States Army during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged. Laurence was a proud veteran and member of the Scottish American Military Society. He worked and retired after a long career in gas and oil exploration at Texaco. He was a man of great intellect, wisdon and faith as well as an active lifelong member of the Episcopalian Church. Laurence was a loving husband and father who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean S. Wilson. Survivors include his daughters: Pat Wilson of Ketchum, Oklahoma, Ruth Ensor of Purcellville, Virginia, Beth Cloe of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; son: Ian Wilson of North Bend, Washington. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be sent to the charity of your choice in Laurences name.
