Lena Constance Blanks Wilson(85) known as Connie by her family and friends made her journey to heaven on Monday, February 18, 2019. Connie was born on August 1, 1933 in the small town of Cerulean, Kentucky on her family's farm. After graduating high school in 1951 she moved to Elizabethtown, Kentucky and then Norfolk, Virginia where she met her husband, Dayton Harlin Wilson. Connie and Dayton married on Valentine's Day 1957. They had an adventurous life moving across the United States as well as Puerto Rico for Dayton's job as an Aerospace Engineer. Connie enjoyed making her house a home filled with love. Connie leaves behind two daughters, Sherri Wilson Bergeron (Eddie) of Catoosa, Oklahoma and Vicki Wilson Hoskison (Keith) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was affectionately called Mimi by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Dayton, parents Henry and Nannie Blanks, brother Harvey Blanks, brother Samuel Blanks and sister Gertrude Beal. Memorial Services will be held at Stanleys Funeral Home 3959 E. 31st Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11am.
