Lester L. Lewis, 76, passed away on July 5, 2022 at his home. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 29, 1:00 p.m., at Stanley's Memorial Chapel, 3959 E. 31st St., Tulsa, OK 74135. Lester was born in Tulsa, OK to Walter and Nona Lewis on July 6th 1945. He graduated from Nathan Hale High in 1965. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war and served in the Army Red Team from 1965 - 1968 which was stationed in South Korea for 1 year of his tour of service. He married wife, Wanda Dewitt in September 12, 1969 in Claremore, OK and remained married for 53 years. He had 3 children (2 boys, 1 daughter) with 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 2 great grandson. He lived in Claremore, OK for 18 years and moved to Catoosa for his final years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked construction for 18 years then worked in manufacturing for 20 years till he retired in 2007. He liked to hunting and fishing. He loved to go bowling and traveling with family. Lester is preceded in death by (Father) Walter A. Lewis, (Mother) Nona Gay Lewis, (Brother) Gordon A. Lewis. He is survived by (Wife) Wanda J. Lewis, (Son) Scotty L. Lewis, (Daughter) Edie LeAnne Battle, (Son) Lester Lewis Jr, (Grandsons) Dustin Lewis, Dylan Battle, Ethan Summers, (Granddaughter) Shelby Lewis, (Great Grandsons) Zander and Roman Summers, (Nephew) Gary Lewis - Wife Chenoa, daughters Aleah and Alexis Lewis, (Niece) Jennifer Lewis and family.
