Liova Patricia Cardenas Hames, born October 10th, 1926 in Edna, Texas passed from this earth to join her loved ones in Heaven on September 5th, 2020 in Wister, Oklahoma. She obtained her business degree at Southmost College in Brownsville, Texas and at the University in Mexico City. Known as Pat to her friends and family, she met her husband and married in 1956 after which they moved to Clayton, OK and raised their family. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, James Crawford Hames, her oldest son, Mark Hames, and her grandson, Cameron Hames. She leaves behind two daughters, Diana Hames of Poteau, OK and Jackie and husband Nick Espinoza of Lakewood, CO, and a son, Richard Hames of Clayton, OK, 7 grandchildren, Casie Dees of Poteau, Isaac Dees and wife Amanda Dees of Poteau, Chantry Dees and wife Caroline Dees of Edmond, OK , Travis Hames of Philadelphia, PA, Jamie Hames of Orlando, FL, Brittney Hames of McAlester and Lyndsi Hames of Tulsa, and 8 great grandchildren. She was active in her community as an entrepreneur and business owner, and an active member of the Eastern Star. She also leaves a legacy of love and kindness with her family, relatives, and friends who will miss her wit, her humor and her genuine concern for the happiness of others. No services are scheduled at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
